朱梁惠美，马来西亚华人圈内知名心理医生。从事临床心理咨询工作11年。因为难得的一点保险观念，许多年前就买过“36种疾病保险”；但是也因为对保险缺乏更多的正确理解，才导致保而不足，因为直到罹患癌症前，她一直笃定罹患癌症是别人的事情，与自己毫不相干；因为罹患癌症，对保险有了更深刻理解；当不菲的医疗费用让她不能选择更好的治疗方案，必须面对捉襟见肘的日常生活开销时，她终于发出了悔不该当初的感慨。     在与癌症抗争的同时，痛彻心骨的懊悔提升了她的社会责任感，于是，她四处公开演说，向广大消费者倾诉她的经历，希望可以唤起人们对保险的正确认识。以下是她在一些演讲会上的演讲片段：     那天，在诊所里，医生用扫描仪在我的乳房来回检查，仔细地研究荧光屏看到的影像。然后面色凝重地对我说：“你要马上去看外科，我有理由相信你身上长的是恶性肿瘤，也就是癌症。”     “什么？你是说乳……癌？Cancer？黄医生，你是说我得了乳癌？”我的思绪有点接不上。     直到完成乳房扫描、影像及细胞学检查，我的信心开始动摇了。从图像上我已经看到癌细胞正在我体内扩散，我的生命行将结束。我将从一个照顾他人心灵的心理医生，变成一个癌症患者，痛苦无助犹如一下子从天堂跌到地狱。     花了几天时间，在极度抗拒和忐忑不安中，安排了肿瘤切除手术。一切都按部就班地进行着，我就像行尸走肉般任由医生摆布，接受手术及术后治疗。前来探访的亲朋好友不断。     “你有保险吗？”“是那种36种疾病的保险吗？”时常有人小心翼翼地询问，他们为我担心大笔的治疗费用。     我感激大家的关心，也暗自庆幸，甚至有点侥幸在发现癌症的9年前就买了那样一份保险。12年前，当我决定购买人生第一份保险时，就是因为意识到，意外随时可以发生在任何人身上。所以，大学刚毕业，领了第一份薪水后就迫不及待地买了一份保险。因为我要的是一份保障。很多人拿到薪水会先准备车子、房子、化妆品等物质享受，但我觉得让自己拥有保障才最重要。现在看来我的认识没错，但是，即使这样，当我购买第一份保险的时候，我心里还是笃定罹患癌症是别人的事情，与我毫不相干。     然而，正是这种绝大多数人都会有的侥幸心里驱使的“笃定”，让我永无止境地遗憾于没有再做加保，以致于在癌症治疗过程中不仅要承受癌痛的折磨，同时还要承受经济的拮据。每当夜深人静，身体开始疼痛难忍时，就会产生恐惧，
